Brycon Sp. (Melanopterus or Amazonicus)

Description: I've posted this a couple of times and withdrawn but as everything has gotten so large, I think I need to thin the shoal in order to look after the interest of the remainder.

I currently have a shoal of 5 Brycon, 3 enormous ones (16"+) and 2 smaller (circa 8/9") and its the smaller ones I offer today. These are incredible, active and engaging fish that feed like a shoal of Piranha but are docile enough to cohabit with other large predators. 16-18" is totally achievable, sizewise, but it'll take a while to get there.

Due to their active nature, any run of the mill, standard size tank will not be big enough. 2 foot wide is also not big enough; these things hurtle around the tank and when they hit 12" they need space to stretch their legs.

These are the daddies of the shoaling Characin world; the only thing more impressive is the Dorado. Which I also have in my shoal :)

If you're interested, message me and I'll give you the low-down but I reserve the right to choose who they go to as I don't want them to simply 'exist' in a 6x2x2 aquarium,,given their current home is 3x larger :).
