Hello, I am reluctantly putting my beloved 16-18” MBU pufferfish Ernie up for adoption as I am moving house.
I purchased Ernie from a local fish shop in October 2022 at 2-3”. He was quarantined for 6 months, put through many rounds of medications. Including three different worming meds.
Ernie currently lives in a 72” L x24” D x30” H which I believe he is beginning to outgrow. I want him to go to a caring home with a larger tank, especially depth front to back wise.
Ernie is eating frozen shelled cockles & muscles, frozen muscle meat, large frozen prawns and more.
He lives with small - medium tetras, Siamese algae eaters, corydoras and a whiptail. Never displayed any aggression towards tank mates or eaten them. However keep him with peaceful community fish that leave him alone.
