  Female Australian red claw crayfish free to good home


Description: A tropical freshwater crustacean with resemblance to a miniature lobster, possessing a turquoise blue shell. The crayfish is roughly 5 cm/ 2 inches in length. To accommodate the needs of this crustacean, the tank must be a minimum of 40-50 cm in length, contain a filter and a heater and should preferably include objects to hide under. The tank must be cleaned once every two weeks. the crayfish can be fed with a variety of organic foods, such as algae and frozen shrimp. the crayfish may also uproot plants or eat vulnerable tankmates, take this into consideration.
