Description: Extremely rare Barbs, beautiful stunning fish full of character now needing a bigger home (4' tank absolute minimum).
4 years old, pictures of actual fish, they are in show perfect condition.
Have 4 different colour modes depending on mood!!! The best (in pic) is mixed Olive, gold, dark bar, silver with the irridescent blue fins which they display when the sun is out. Other colour modes are pure gold, pure olive, or pale colouration.
Eat dried food as well as fresh, big eaters!!
Constantly on the move.
Can live very long time, grow to around 14".
Very rarely seen in the trade, extremely hard to acquire due to import ban.

1 x 12" & 1 x 8".

They display a 12 hour mating ritual every 3 months. The clay pipe in photo is 35cm long (to give perspective)
