the will appreciate dim lighting with dense cover, they are great jumpers so be sure to have a secure hood with no gaps that they could escape through.
subtropical species so a heater is not needed in the home aquarium, temps 16-26*c winter summer.
mixed diet, little but often is key to good growth and colour, crushed prawn, earthworms, insects thats are sold intended for reptiles, pellets, shrimps ect..
best kept in a species only aquarium where they are to grow, pair up and breed, which will take place shortly after their first winter season.
