All club meetings start at 8pm at the Highbank Community Centre, Farnborough Road, Clifton, NG11 9DG, the same venue as our spring and autumn auctions.
Everyone is very welcome and attendance is free, you do not need to be a member to attend as visitors can attend three meetings before being approached about membership which is a one-off £10 payment for life membership. Hope to see you on these evenings!
The guest speaker nights are:
On Monday April 10th, we will have the pleasure of the company of Dr David Pool of Fish Science foods who will be giving a talk titled “What’s wrong with my fish?”. The talk will cover the importance of good foods and how food can affect fish health.
At the same venue on Monday June 12th, we will be having a hands-on Aquascaping Demonstration by world renowned Aquascaper George Farmer, whose articles you can read each month in Practical Fishkeeping magazine.
At our meeting on Monday September 11th, Dr Donna Snellgrove and Tim O’Brine will be giving talks on how Mars Fishcare are supporting the breeding of marine fish and coral reef rebuilding in Indonesia.
