clarias batrachus catfish up for grabs. this is my first post on this site, although i have kept fish many years, i have recently purchased a nice tank as an upgrade.. unfortunately it came with fish but re-homed the rest.. the clarias so far has been with me for about a month and i need to move it on before i get attached to it. i have kept large cats before but now my attention has turned to smaller fish
if anybody is interested it is around 7 inches long and at a guess not very old (was 5 inches at new years day), it has lovely markings/ black patches almost symmetrical. it needs a good size tank when fully grown, full maturity is 1 year (35-50cm )
I really need to move it on as i want to sell the tank it is now homed in. That was my original plan before the catfish came along. so if anybody wants this catfish it is free to a good home... and i want it gone before it out grows the tank.. as this is not fair on the fish, so anybody with a big tank do this cat a favour and offer a good home
