WANTED, free to good home please, trops to re-stock mature but recently decimated 400L tank

Description:
I have been keeping fish for over thirty years and have now scaled down to just one 400L, very mature and heavily planted bog standard trop tank. Unfortunately during the cold snap, we had a power cut one night and didn't realize it until the next morning. By then the cold and lack of oxygen had killed off most of my fish. :-(
My few remaining fish include a Synodontis angelicus that I personally have had for 20 years, a group of eight kribs, some ancistrus, a blue gourami and some S. nigriventris (upside down cats). My beloved a five foot tank looks positively empty.
I would love to go out and plan a biotope and overhaul the tank - I've always wanted to go further with the cichlids - but there's a catch. I work with autistic children and consequently earn peanuts, barely enough to feed my three sons, never mind buy a load of new fish.
As such, this is my plea to fellow fish-keepers: please let me be your fishy charity of choice. I promise to look after any offered fish that would fit into my community to the very best of my ability. If I can breed them, I will. I'll even send you pictures if you like. Kinda like adopting a child in a third world country, only it's a London fish sending you emails. ;-)
Anyway, I have no idea if anyone will read this or not. If you have, please put a net in your tank for this good but impoverished fish-keeper. Surely somebody has got something that has bred well enough they can part with a few juveniles that I could grow on. Please...
Many thanks in advance,
Trish
