Description:
I added a Sunface Damsel (Chrysiptera talboti) to my red sea max about 3 weeks ago. Lovely looking fish and eats well but he has been occasionally harrassing my clowns a little. I think he needs a bigger tank or some tougher tankmates.
I have now caught him and he is waiting in his fish trap to be collected. I am happy to let him go free to a willing home. This is supposed to be one of the best damsels to keep but I am a little over protective of my clowns. Bob Fenner sums this fish up as... " Of the more than three hundred described species of Pomacentrids, Talbot's Damsel ranks supreme for peaceful marine aquarium, reef system use. It's good looking, disease-resistant, interesting behaviorally... and not rare or hard to catch in its geographic range. If you have room, desire for a great damselfish, a coral-rich setting, do look into Talbot's. "
Call me anytime on 07785 578677. I live in Bovingdon near Hemel Hempstead. Add posted at 9.30pm on Monday 30th July. Would like him collected soon or I will take him to an LFS. Thanks, Andy
