Description:
For sale Complete 120 gallon Tropical Marine setup.
I'm selling my beloved Marine aquarium, due to thinking about moving house. The tank is an Aquamedic Anthias 120. It is a mature tank over 3 years old and teaming with life.
I am selling
Aquamedic Anthias 120 Tank (in black - 136 cm x 68 x 70 cm)
Matching Cabinate (stand, also in black)
2x200w Metal Halide & 2x40w Blue Actinic Tubes Aquamedic lighting pendant.
4 x Tunze 6101's Powerheads
Tunze Powerhead controller unit
4 x Tunze powerhead magnetic fixings
Tunze Ozmolator
Custom built glass sump (in cabinate)
2 heaters
Ocean Runner return pump
Protein Skimmer
Cooling fan (I'll throw in a brand new spare also)
Digital temperature control unit (controls heaters & fans)
Custom built Durso in weir (for silent running)
Lighting timers
100kg Live Rock (very, very nice stuff this)
15-20kg Live Rock Rubble in weir (no bacto balls, still have them in the spare room if wanted though)
5kg Tongan Branch Rock
2 Large tubs of Miracle Mud (in middle sump compartment)
An array of corals, cant remember the names of them anymore but 3 of them are
starting to get quite large. Could probably do with fragging some bits off really.
The ones I (kind of) remember are
Leather coral
Mushrooms (brown)
Mushrooms (blue, absolutely stunning colour, currently growing like wild fire)
Fuzzy Green Mushrooms
Green polips (think thats the name)
Finger coral
Plate Coral
Fish -
Flame Angel
Yellow Tang
Pair of Clarkie Clowns
Bannana Wrass
2x Blue Chromis
Large Blue Legged Hermit Crab
Snails
Possibly some peppermint shrimp, bought 3 a couple of years ago, put them in the tank. Spotted one about 6 months ago during the night while looking in the tank with a torch (£45 well spent).
I've also seen a couple of other crabs in there, must have come when I bought the live rock.
Other stuff -
Refractometer
2x30 litre plastic jerry cans, one for auto-topup resovoir and one to store water in.
130 litre water stub for water changes
100w (might be 50w) heater for water changes
Small water pump, again for water changes.
Currently an almost full 22kg tub of Red Sea Coral Pro salt.
CO2 regulator (Aquamedic (I think))
Solenoid Valve (again I think its Aquamedic)
(the regulator and solenoid are left over from my old tropical setup but I'll throw these in incase you want to set up a calcium generator or something, however, I've never had any problems with calcium levels in the tank)
Feeding pipette
Some grabbing thing for getting stuff from the bottom of the tank (useful bit of kit)
Salifert Water testing kits (pH, calcium, Magnesium, Phosphate, Nitrate, Nitrite & Ammonia)
I also have a 6 stage RO unit, however this is plumbed in under the kitchen sink and the filter units really need replacing, if I can get it out you can have this aswell but to be honest you'd be better off buying a new one.
I think thats everything.
The tank is totally disease free, never had any problems with whitespot etc and never had to medicate the water, apart from some Aptasia killer about 18 months ago when I spotted a single Aptasia growing in the tank. One application to the Aptasia killed it stone dead. Infact I've still got the bottle of Aip-ex, also included.
Selling the lot for £2600
Given that the tank new is 2 grand, the powerheads were over a grand and the rock work was over twelve hundred quid this is an absolute bargin.
Selling as a complete set, I'm not breaking down piece by piece.
Buyer will have to collect from Rawtenstall, Rossendale, Lancs, obviously I'll help with the move as it will be quite an operation :)
Pictures incomming soon, need to sort out a decent camera.
