Description:
Large water lily crowns recently split from the mother plant.
Large variety of Nymphaea alba lily that can grow in depths of 2 - 4ft, Leaves reach 8" in diameter and lily flowers of around 3-4 "
Prefers full sun for optimum growth / flowers.
I have grown this alba lily since the 1990's, the original cutting came from a private lake in Ballynahinch, Co. Down, planted there in the late 60's / early 70's by the late Joe Mawhiney.
Testimony to the vigour and robustness of this strain of lily.
Really healthy crowns, no crown rot or diseases, From a snail free / pest free water source, may contain water louse, Asellus aquaticus and Brachionus rotifers.
Note- crowns are provided as bare root rhizome with leaves
Large crowns £6 each. leaf stems approx 2ft
Small crown £3 each. Secateurs are for scale
