My description is very clear about where things are not perfect what they are.

This would be a fantastic backup system for someone or a great start out for some new to keeping fish who want to give fish keeping a try without spending £1700 on the latest system!

Its a testament to the OASE system and the quality of its filtration that such a relatively small pond has been able to support 9 big koi. Some of them are over 25 years old and the biggest is 60cm!

When I inherited the pond over 10 years ago there was a different system but, I had to find something I could manage myself and the Biotec is easy to maintain.

In total its supported 9 KOI plus 2 goldfish.

I have a video of the remain 5 Koi (4 have already gone) before they too go to their new home. I have done this so you can see how healthy the Koi are and how clear the water is.

So to clarify, the biotech screen Matic has 16 sponge media. There's media of eight at one level and the finer media at the lower level.

This Biotec screen Matic has a few things no longer working on it which has not made any difference to the filtration or water clarity

First of all the UV light has not worked for years. I never bothered to replace it. Seems completely unnecessary and has not made a difference to anything.

The roller ceased to work a couple of years ago and the mesh that went round the roller needs stitching. Once again neither of these things have made a difference. The roller used to drop the algae etc into the tray. As that doesn't do that any more I simply sweep it off the top of the mesh manually every couple of days.

Important! All the koi will be gone this week, but in order that thr buyer can see it working am keeping it running.

I can't assume the buyer will be a qualified electrician and able to safely decommission the system.

This is why I am asking such a very, very reasonable price for this whole system. But the purchaser will be required to prove they are a qualified electrician before dismantling. if not I have a local electrician who will come and do it but the buyer will be expected to pay his cost.
