The large filter material volume of approx. 350 cm³ ensures natural biological breakdown of pollutants, creating crystal clear, healthy aquarium water.
The extensive accessories range – consisting of curve pipes, pipe connectors as well as spray bar and suction cups – allows to install the aquarium filters in various positions. The additional third filter chamber of the sera fil 120 is filled with the new high performance biofilter medium siporax® mini.
This filter medium ensures best water quality by optimal biological purification. siporax® is suitable for all internal biofilters, external filters, trickle filter systems and garden pond filters. It is especially recommended for small biofilters in both fresh and saltwater aquariums.
The filter medium is extremely economical: For example, 1 liter of sera siporax® provides as much settling area for filter bacteria as 34 liters of ceramic filter material and ensures over 200 liters of crystal clear and biologically pure aquarium water. The compact siporax® mini was specially designed for the new sera fil internal filters by the sera laboratory. These compact filters and additionally available modules now allow to effectively filter aquariums with more than 120 liters biologically.
