Riccia fluitans became one of the most popular aquatic plants used in modern aquarium aquascaping once Takashi Amano started using it in some of his incredible aquarium setups. If you've never heard of Takashi, google his name for some inspiration on how to set up your aquarium!
Riccia is fairly undemanding as long as it's given light and fertilizer. It has the ability to grow very quickly if this is provided and provides ideal conditions for shrimp and fry to live amongst. You are buying a piece measuring at least 10cm X 12cm these are a lot bigger (At least 20%) than others offered for sale. Installing several pieces in your aquarium will effectively allow you to "carpet" you aquarium with an attractive green coloured "lawn".
