Due to my mother's ill health, she needs to rehome her tropical fish and their tank as soon as possible. Free to a good home.
Please note, there is no help available with emptying the tank and moving it and the new owners will need to bring a suitable container to transport the fish.
Fish, plants, gravel, tank and stand etc will need collecting from County Durham. Unfortunately, I do not currently have details of the breeds of fish apart from neons and I think there may be some guppies. I may be able to confirm this at a later date by phone call but I am currently in Scotland .
Complete set up in full working order to include equipment to clean gravel and to empty water.
The tank and stand were bought 7 years ago from Chilton Aquatics. Current cost of tank and similar stand is approximately £850.
This is from a smoke free home and undamaged as far as I am aware, it has never been moved since it was set up. There may be some water marks on the cabinet, I am not sure, they may possibly clean off and I will try to do this when I get to my Mum's.

Sorry I know nothing about fish or tanks so unable to tell you anything more.
This was always kept in pristine condition until December 2024 and my mum has kept fish for many years but, due to ailing health she is no longer able to do this. She is very fond of her pets and distressed that she is unable to care for them to an acceptable standard. Therefore, it would be appreciated if they can be collected within the next few weeks.
I have attached a photo, it is not a very good one but the only one available.
There is also a smaller tank, complete with lighting, heating, filter etc which is home to frogs and snails. The frogs and snails and their tank also need rehoming but I have no information or photo available at the current time other than it is a much snaller tank which sits on her kitchen worktop.
It would be helpful if both tanks could go together but not a problem if only one of the tanks is required. It is a condition that the fish, frogs and snails are well looked after though.
