This will give a better explanation of the tank and its features than I could.
The outside of the tank and the glass are still in very good condition and the tank still looks stunning when the lights are on and it looks modern and sleek like you are looking at a flat screen tv because the edges of the tank are in black gloss trim, not like a normal fish tank with glass edge to edge, so they are a nice piece of furniture.
We have kept fish for many years and as the photos will show this tank also comes with a huge selection of fish tank related items we have purchased over the years, currently it is set up as a tropical fish tank but plenty of marine equipment comes with the tank so the new owner could keep either.
The inside of the cabinet which holds the sump clearly shows signs of its life as sump tank as you would expect but once the doors are closed you are left with the tank that still cleans up very nice to look stunning when stocked with fish.
Originally these had a digital display in the centre, this still works but is erratic so we just turned it off, but aside from the digital display everything else works as it is supposed to, the tank currently has a selection of fish in it and anyone is welcome to view the tank whilst the auction is running.
There is way too many items for me to list everything but the most important and valuable items included in the sale are as follows
Maxspect wave R420 R 300w 16000k an incredible light that retailed at around £800 when new, look it up you will see this really is as good as anything you could buy for a Marine tank, and it still functions like new.
Maxspect wave maker, another fantastic piece of equipment, extremely powerful that churns the water about in the tank creating a water current that is needed to get marine coral to thrive, it still functions perfectly normally but the wire could do with some attention or replacing.
Fluval sump pump rated at 7500 litres per hour another quality item that still works perfectly and is very powerful.
As the photos show this tank comes complete with some really big pieces of bogwood that I have no doubt would cost over £50.00 each and we have 3 of them.
We are not interested in splitting this up everything you see will be included in the sale, regarding the fish we are trying to find homes for them this week. So whoever buys this can have every item in the photos and leave whatever they don't want here but there is so many items here you could use other pumps etc for other tanks if you have more than one.
As shown in the photos we kept the original fish tank lid that the tank came with in case it was ever used again without the separate lighting system we have used.
The dimension for tank cabinet are as follows 150 cm long 70 cm high and 50 cm wide
The dimension for the actual fish tank is 150 cm long 82 cm high and 50 cm wide
The dimension for combined size for both parts of the tank are 150 cm long 153 cm high and 50 cm wide
The dimension for sump tank that sits in the cabinet is 98 cm long 42 cm high and 30 cm wide.
This is a very heavy tank but as it splits into two pieces it is manageable with two men and clearly you will need a big enough vehicle to accept the dimensions I listed above.
We intend to let the auction run for 2 weeks to give us a chance to re home the fish but are open to offers to end the auction early, you are welcome to view the tank in the meantime but we have the tank and it's contents listed elsewhere as well.
The tank currently has two royal pleco, king pleco, two albino pleco, 3 parrot fish, 1 large silver line catfish, 3 banjo catfish , one Scat and a few other catfish
IM looking for £800 for tank and fish will sell all together but for the right price as all very big and havent listed all of the.
