My pride and joy is now up for sale.
Full setup resembling lake Tanganyika conditions including a breeding group of 15 Tropheus Kiriza Kaiser (6 wild-caught, 9 F1 plus baby fish). It took several years to establish a successful breeding group.
Included:
- Fluval FX6 including specialized filter media (coral reef, activated carbon, ceramic, etc) in order to keep the water parameters at an optimum level (new motor fitted in February 2022)
- Second external filter for mechanical filtration
- 2 x EHEIM THERMOCONTROL HEATER 300W
- Dual air pump
- wavemaker
- Eheim automatic fish feeder
- LED lighting system with timers
- Plants, rocks, coral sand
- Custom-built 3D background (worth £700)
- Second tank (approx 60l) with filter, heater and lights - used for keeping holding females
- many other bits and bobs, essentially everything you need to keep and breed these beautiful fish
In total, over £4K worth of equipment.
I am only selling as I am required to travel a lot with my new position and sadly do not have time to enjoy this setup.
Please no time wasters. I will require a £300 deposit prior to emptying the tank and getting the fish ready for transport.
