Fluidized bed sand filter for biological filtration of aquariums up to 10,000 litres.

The water enters the filter from the bottom and keeps the quartz sand in suspension or "fluidized".
This creates an enormous biological surface area which is optimally supplied with oxygen rich water and nutrients.
The clean water returns to the aquarium or sump under gravity flow.
Requires a water feed pump such as OR 3500 or ER 3700.
