Description:
This tank has been used for the past 3 years as a marine aquarium. I bought it second hand and have adapted it by adding a weir and a safety over flow to make it more user friendly for a marine environment. The tank has a double thickness bottom and has support braces around the top and also 2 width braces it is very strong and heavy, also there are no leak problems with the tank. The tank is perfectly sound although you would probably want to re silicone the front sides due to algae marks to get that crisp look. It also comes with a sump tank which is clean and is in my garage.
The cabinet is black gloss with a open top pelmet. Its unmarked on the outside and has only had a slight cut made to fit the pipework from the tank but this was all done from setting up the tank and was sealed after. There are no signs of water damage to the wood work just the hinges have slightly oxide encrusted from the salt environment but theses can easily be replaced if you wanted too. New this cabinet was £600 from Coral cabinets and is very good quality due the weight it has to take.
The tank and cabinet are very heavy separately and will require 2 strong men and a large empty transit size van for collection. Payment to be made before moving the tank out of my house where you can park on the driveway. The reason I am selling this is because I no longer sit in this room due to a new extension so I was not getting any enjoyment out of watching the fish. So now it needs to go and I have been reminded by the wife to get it sorted. I am all ways around so collection at anytime will probably be good for me.
