Description: Good quality HMA filter - cartridges have been in 6 months but having decided to close down my discus tanks I've hardly used it.

Filters are good for approx 2000 gallons / 9000 litres and I've probably run 1000 litres off them so wont need replacing for a while.

The 3 Stages of Filtration Are:

A 5 - Micron Sediment Filter Made of 100% Pure Polypropylene Fibres. Removes Dirt, Sand and Rust
A HMA media filter of coconut carbon & KDF mix which removes heavy metals , volatile organic chemicals , gardia , cryptosporidium , chlorine , chloromine.

3. A Carbon Block Filter Composed of High Performance Carbon. Removes Trihalomethanes, Pesticides, Volatile Organic Chemicals and 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium Cysts
