Air Lift Kreisel Tank / Seahorse breeding.

Description: We are offering a simple Kreisel tank which we use in breeding seahorses:
New born fry are held in kreisel tanks for the first two to three weeks from birth. The water flow of a kreisel tank help to prevent young from getting stuck on the surface of the water, where they tend to take in air and can cause swim bladder issues. By using a simply modified tank, with a slow flow of bubbles a circular water flow is created, thus keeping the fry away from the water surface and keeping them in close proximity to their food. Daily water changes are carried out three time a day in the morning, mid day and in the evening up to a total of 20% of the tank volume, thus keeping the water quality good. We also add a daily dose of Sanolife to keep the fry healthy.
