Aqua Medic Riff 500 Filter System

Description: Sadly selling of my set-up and now only left with the kit.

I've had the Aqua Medic Riff 500 Filter System from new for 4yrs approx and works perfectly.

The Aqua Medic Riff 500 filter system, is a compact 3-stage unit for use in the cabinet under the aquarium. The unit is of modular construction and can be enlarged or extended as required. The system comprises a pre-filtration module filled with sponge, for performing mechanical filtration, a Turboflotor 1000 protein skimmer with venturi pump and needle wheel, and a post skimming trickle filter filled with Bactoballs for biological filtration. A purpose built glass sump is available as an option. This sump is designed to take, in addition to the reef 500, a Calcium Reactor and a Nitratreductor, for expansion of the system.
