Aqua Medic Marin 500 Filtration System

Description: Im selling my Aqua Medic Marin 500 filter system due to giving up the hobby.It consists of a filter tank with dimensions 48 x 20 x 48 cm (c. 19 x 8 x 19 inches). The water is fed to the midiflotor protein skimmer in its dedicated chamber by way of a surface overflow and pre-filter sponge. From there it is pumped to a biological trickle filter, filled with Bactoballs. The SP 3000 Dosing pump supplies water to the Nitratereductor. Two PF 1000 pumps rated at 1000 l/h (c. 250 gph) pump the water back into the aquarium. Using the Marin 500, existing aquaria can be transformed into a powerful saltwater aquarium without any external plumbing or modifications.
