Description:
The tank;
5ft wide, 30" top to bottom and 2ft front to back, weir in each corner.
Cabinet to fit, in antique pine
The sump is 3ft with 3 sections, it has a hole drilled just above normal operating level which was then piped through a hole in the cabinet base, under the floor and out to drain, this was to make water changes easy as i had a pipe from a fresh water vat outside plumbed under the floor and up into the main tank, this in turn was connected to an Ocean Runner 6500 that at the flick of a switch pumped fresh salt water into the tank, the existing water then just overflowed through the sump outlet and out direct to drain, hey presto a 25gallon water change in around 10 mins, no spillage, no mess, no fuss at all!
I'll include the sump return pump in the sale as its really an itegral part of the main system.
The negative - the front pane of the tank does have some scratches, these can probably be polished out with a little patience!
I just want rid of this now as its dissappointing seeing it sitting empty after having a thriving reef in for the last few years!
