Description:
Fish tank for sale. £150 for the lot. Can be sold in parts with reasonable offers (e.g. without the fish).
We have about 25 cichlids of a good mix and one bristlenose plec.
It's a healthy group - they are still reproducing but thankfully not too quickly.
Details are as follows:
Tank: 60" x 18" x 12" (200 litres)
Supporting Stand: 2x Sections of black worktop (one used as a shelf) cut to same size as tank base. 60 grey bricks.
Heating element: Around 10 months old with thermostat. Can't remember what rating it is, but it is correct for the size of tank.
Air pump: Interpet Airvolution 2, around 10 months old (http://www.aquarium-products.co.uk/Interpet_Airvolution_2_Air_Pump.htm).
Filter: Fluval 305 - a very good filter, around 12 months old (http://www.petsparade.co.uk/aquarium/filters/?p=115).
Rock: 15-20 pieces of ocean rock of varying size. Very nice whitish rock.
Substrate: 1-1.5" surface coverage of pebble (bought from a fish shop to make sure it's compatible).
Other:
Fish-keeping book.
Replacement filter medium.
2x Water testing kit.
2x pieces of bogwood.
NOTE: there is a long crack along the bottom of the tank. This is completely unnoticeable once the tank is set up and has been sealed with silicone sealant. We move round the rocks inside the tank every couple of weeks and have never had it leak.
Collection only (we can help with the moving but you will need a van or similar). We are located in Cambridge (CB1 3DQ).
