wanted urgently for rescued turtles, ext filter sheffield

Hi
Was recommended this site by some local fish keeper.
I rescue reptiles etc, but had a infux of turtles, i was hoping to get a pond done by now, so i could overwinter outside.but alas it didnt happen
i have been give a 5' tank, to house some inside for the winter, but im desperate for a ext filter, as i was told i needed this as a normal int small filter wont cope with lots of turtle poo.
Im hoping anyone who has upgraded and got one laying round who could donate, as we are desperate! I have looked on ebay, but almost a 100quid each, for the ones i was told were suitable.
If anyone is around sheffield, who has large ponds, im also after advice on making one, for the turtles next year...as mine is not deep enough for overwintering, and how to build, tips etc would be fantastic
