Extra Large Vieja Red Cichlid
If you are looking for a extremely rare and beautiful fish, then this is the cichlid for you!
We bought this fish at 7" long but he has grown to his full size of 12" long, 6" high (approx). This is why we are selling him....we feel he needs some more room now and would need a tank that is a minimum 4ft wide.
He is very healthy and has great colouration. He is non aggressive and has lived in this tank with Gouramis, Silver Dollars, Head standers, pleco's, clown loaches and parrot fish. He could not be kept with anything like platies, tetras, mollies for obvious reasons that they could quite easily fit in his mouth!
He has lived on a healthy diet of river shrimp - approx 50 per week (£1.50), but also likes bloodworm and cichlid pellets.
