Description:
My pair of Apistogramma trifasciata cichlids had eggs in early May, and the fry are now approx. 2cm, large enoueach to go to a new home. They are dwarf cichlids from Brazil, which are peaceful towards other fish, I keep them together with guppies and shrimp. The adult males are blue, the females yellow. The photos of the fry are from 2nd July. Apistogrammas change colour according to their mood, like chameleons, in particular the black stripe on their side can appear and disappear within seconds; the two photos of the father show him with and without the stripe. They are territorial, so it's best to have only one pair of adults in a tank, or divide the tank into sections, otherwise the males will fight constantly.
