Description:
I'm selling my wild caught Uaru, it came from the santerum region of brazil. It was bought from Rare Aquatics 2 years ago as a pair but sadly the female died after spawning 12 months ago, so I'm having a change. He is a splendid looking specimen and relatively large at 10 inches, so an adequate sized tank is needed. He is very easy to keep and feed, he eats almost anything. He does require wood in the tank as they nibble on this, the thoughts are that it helps with the digestive system somehow. He also needs plant food source as well as the standard fish foods. Also for his size he is a very peaceful fish, he goes well in an community tank which is quite rare for the larger cichlids. He's a great character to the tank, happy bidding and any questions please do ask.
