Description:
I have several 2" F1 juvenile speckled-faced S maps for sale (similar to leucosticta), born and raised in London tap water (no RO), and should therefore be easier to keep in hard water without developing HLLE. Parents are wild and believed to have been collected in Brazil. Satanoperca are endearing SA mouthbrooders, peaceful, inquisitive, unfussy with food, substantial but not too large, constantly sparring harmlessly with each other while watching the humans. They need to be kept in a group of 5 or more in a large (min 5ft) tank with sandy (not gravel) bottom, clean and warm water (27-30oC). Peaceful tank mates a must. Work very well with angelfish and tetras - would also work with discus if the tank is large enough. Selling for £3 each. Not for beginners! Buyer collects from London E1. (Picture of parents shown for reference - parents not for sale)
