Description:
About 40 young (two months old) Black Acara (Cichlasoma bimaculatum), from 10mm to 15mm long are available. The parents were imported from Europe in the spring and are believed to be one generation after wild capture in South America. The parents were first identified as Krobia xingu (and priced at £5.00 each), however they have since been re-identified as Black Acara (Cichlasoma bimaculatum)or at least a closely related Cichlasoma sp. The male parent is 90mm long and female 80mm long. The young from their first brood in April, now over 30mm long, have already been sent to their new homes. The parents are now caring for their most recent brood that is only a couple of weeks old. Location close to Bath, Frome, Shepton Mallet and Wells, so if you are interested please get in touch. Thanks, - Steven
