With a bit of sadness, I'm having to sell my 4ft planted Discus aquarium as I am moving flats and don't have the space in my new place. This is a fairly simple and low maintenance setup that has worked well for me for the last 18 months or so. All fish are doing well in dechlorinated tapwater, 25L changed per week.
This setup is still a 'work in progress' so here's a couple of notes:
The tank stand is homemade; the doors aren't hinged yet and it still requires painting/varnishing. The t5 unit could do with better reflectors. I had also intended to add a couple of more Discus as the one fish at the bottom of the 'pecking order' looks a little stressed.
