This healthy Spotted Leopard discus was purchased at ChensDiscus on October 2008 when it was 4 months old and it was about 2.5 inches.
This Spotted Leopard discus is raised soley from conditioned tap water at a PH of 7 and kept at a constant temperature of 27C. Water changes are made 50% daily and fed solely on Beefheart mix 2 times a day, any leftovers are siphoned out and replenished with fresh clean water. This discus is also fed frequently on Live Adult Brineshrimps, Frozen Bloodworms, Frozen Brineshrimps and pellet food (Hikari Tropical Discus Bio-Gold).
This Spotted Leopard discus is a female, and it is at a breeding age, hence it can be paired off once conditioned and placed in the correct water parameter.
Photo's showing the discus out of the water is the best way to define the shape of the discus.
