N.e.t.s club members had a meeting last night to discuss the auction last Sunday 6th of October.
We raised. A total of £1540
2 cheques were wrote out at the meeting. Ready to give.
£770 to St Oswalds Hospice
£770 to The Peoples Kitchen
2 fantastic local charities
Prior to the auction. A club member went to the peoples kitchen based in Newcastle. And was told £5 provides a hot meal and pudding for a homeless person.
Just to get your head round it
£770 will provide meals for 154 people. Or feed one person for over 5 month.
Which to the club is unbelievable.

Nets club is ran by hobbyist who don't get paid for these events. No members are live on YouTube or Facebook trying to get famous we just enjoy fish keep and the chairty event is always a favourite.
The club members would like to thank everyone who turned up and support both a fantastic hobby and 2 fantastic charities. Without people sharing these events auctions would die off.
